Cover Transition
움직이는 그림으로 보기 →사람·기둥·손 같은 물체가 화면을 꽉 가린 순간에 컷을 숨겨서, 가림이 걷히면 다른 장면이 이어지는 것처럼 보이게 한다.
한 번에 찍은 것처럼 보이고 싶은 영화 장면. 장소가 바뀌는 여행·패션 광고. 유튜브 브이로그의 장면 전환. 가장자리를 따라 마스크로 닦아 내는 와이프 바이 전환보다 만들기 쉽다.
A 컷은 끝에서 화면이 가려지도록, B 컷은 가려진 상태에서 시작하도록 따로 만든다. A 프롬프트에는 "a person walks right in front of the camera, their dark jacket fills the entire frame"를, B에는 "the frame starts fully covered by a dark jacket that moves away to reveal ..."를 넣는다. 시작 프레임을 넣을 수 있는 모델이면 B의 첫 프레임으로 어두운 천이 화면을 다 가린 이미지를 쓴다. 편집에서는 화면이 가장 많이 가려진 프레임에서 자른다. 가림이 덜 되면 Premiere Pro나 DaVinci Resolve에서 가리는 물체의 가장자리를 따라 마스크를 움직인다. ffmpeg로는 가린 순간에 하드 컷을 하거나 2~4프레임짜리 xfade=transition=fade로 이음매를 감춘다.

The cover hides the cut.
