Food & Drink Ad

When to use it

When you want to show the 'moment it looks delicious' of one dish or one drink, in 15 seconds. Good for cafe, delivery, and food ads.

Techniques that build this scene

  1. CameraTop-Down / Flat Lay

In Shot 1, look down at lemon, mint, ice and an empty glass, then a hand enters and slices the lemon. Showing the ingredients first conveys that it's 'made fresh, right now'.

To recreate it: Write that the hand enters from the edge of the frame, and decide the ingredient layout in the start-frame image first.

  2. LightBacklight / Rim Light

In Shots 2 and 3, strong light from behind makes the bubbles and droplets glow. Bubbles holding light let the eye feel the cold.

To recreate it: Write what the light makes glow, too, as in 'strong backlight making the bubbles glow'.

  3. CameraMacro

Show, at very large scale, the lemon slice dropping into sparkling water in Shot 2 and the water drops running down the glass in Shot 4.

To recreate it: AI is good at liquids and bubbles, so generate plenty of macro shots and pick the one that looks most refreshing.

  4. CameraRobotic Arm / Bolt Cam

In Shot 3, the moment the drink pours, the camera whips once around the glass. It is the 'money shot', the one the ad puts the most weight on.

To recreate it: Instruct a fast move only once per shot. If the glass gets distorted, regenerate as a fixed shot and use an editing punch-in instead.

  5. SpeedSpeed Ramp

In Shot 3, the moment the drink hits the ice, the picture slows down once more and then speeds up again. After the fast ingredient prep, this slowdown creates the peak.

To recreate it: Generate with 'slow motion', speed up only the parts before and after in editing, and fill the gaps with frame interpolation if it looks choppy.

  6. EditingFast Cutting / Hip-Hop Montage

Chop the slicing action of Shot 1 into 0.3-0.5s pieces timed to the knife sounds. Hitting hard and short makes the slow money shot after it stand out more.

To recreate it: Generate one 4-5s slicing clip and split it into several pieces in editing.

  7. SoundSound Design: Hits, Whooshes, Risers

Boost the fizz popping and the ice clinking like hit sound effects and align them to the music beat (beat sync). The sound carries taste and temperature to the ear, too.

To recreate it: Mute the generated clips and place the fizz and ice sound effects exactly on the cut boundaries in editing.

One-click prompt

Cinematic multi-shot sequence, 12 seconds total. Shot 1 (2s): static top-down flat lay of lemons, mint, ice and a tall glass as hands slice a lemon; Shot 2 (2s): static slow-motion macro of a lemon slice dropping into sparkling water, bubbles glowing in backlight; Shot 3 (3s): robotic arm camera whipping in one fast arc around fizzy soda splashing over ice into a glass, slow motion, amber backlight; Shot 4 (2s): macro slow truck left along condensation droplets sliding down the glass; Shot 5 (3s): slow push-in on a young woman on a sunny terrace sipping the soda and smiling. Consistent tall glass of lemon soda, golden hour backlight, vivid fresh colors, refreshing summer mood, no text.

Why this combo

Backlight makes bubbles, droplets, and steam glow, so you can feel cold and hot with your eyes. Slow motion stretches the pouring and splashing 'money shots' so viewers imagine the taste. Rush through the ingredient prep, then slow down once, and you get rhythm.

Shot-by-shot breakdown and prompts

Macro shot of a lemon slice dropping into sparkling water, bubbles and droplets bursting upward in slow motion, static camera, extreme close-up, strong backlight making the bubbles glow, shallow depth of field, bright refreshing mood
  3. Shot 3 · 3s · The pouring money shot
Fizzy lemon soda pouring over ice into a tall glass, liquid splashing in slow motion, high-speed robotic arm camera whips around the glass in one fast arc, medium close-up, backlit amber glow, dark background, energetic commercial look
  4. Shot 4 · 2s · The cold touch
Extreme close-up of cold condensation droplets sliding down the side of a tall glass of lemon soda with ice inside, slow truck left along the glass, macro lens, shallow depth of field, soft backlight, refreshing summer mood

Editing order

Break up the slicing in shot 1 into 0.3–0.5-second fast cuts timed to the knife sounds, and in shot 3 use a speed ramp to slow down once more the moment it touches the ice. Cut to the beat, using the fizz and ice sounds as hit effects, and in shot 5 put the menu name and price in the open space on the right with caption styling.

Making it with AI

AI makes liquids and bubbles well, but the glass shape and the amount of drink tend to differ from shot to shot, so use the same glass photo as the start frame. Give a fast move like a robot arm only once per shot, and if the glass gets crushed in the draft, regenerate it as a locked shot and substitute a punch-in in editing. If a section stretched slow in editing looks choppy, fill it in with frame interpolation.
