Spin Transition

In plain words

At the end of cut A the picture spins fast around the lens axis and blurs, and cut B starts by spinning in the same direction and then stopping. The cut hides inside the blur, so the two scenes look joined by a single rotation.

When to use it

Place changes in music videos and travel videos, the moment of entering a dream or confusion, fast Short ads. It uses the same principle as the whip pan transition, but in the direction of rotation.

In AI video, like this

In the last 0.5 seconds of A's prompt put "camera rolls fast clockwise, heavy motion blur", and in the first 0.5 seconds of B's prompt put "camera finishing a fast clockwise roll, blur settles", so the rotation directions match. Kling's camera controls include Roll. If the generated rotation is weak, add rotation keyframes and motion blur in the edit to the last 0.3 seconds of A and the first 0.3 seconds of B, and cut in the middle of the two blurred sections. Adding a whoosh sound effect makes the cut less visible.

One-click prompt

Medium shot of a street dancer in a white hoodie freezing mid-move on a neon-lit rooftop at night; in the final second the camera rolls fast clockwise around the lens axis, a 180-degree spin with heavy motion blur that smears the city lights into streaks, ending fully blurred for a spin transition.
