A vertical video of about 15 seconds that links moments where the place, outfit, or time changes with flashy transitions. Often used for travel highlights and fashion reels.
At the end of Shot 1, whip the camera to the right so the whole frame blurs. This blur works as a door to the next place.
To recreate it: Append 'then the camera whips fast to the right with heavy motion blur' to the end of the prompt.
Join the end of the blur in Shot 1 to the start of the blur in Shot 2 to teleport from a sunlit rooftop to a neon night street. Cut at the middle of the two blur sections and add a whoosh sound.
To recreate it: If the blur comes out weak, add the directional blur effect in your editing software across the boundary of the two shots.
When the first shot exits to the right, the next one enters from the left. Because the direction of movement carries over, it looks like one continuous take even though the place and outfit change.
To recreate it: Write 'to the right' and 'from the left' word for word in the prompts before and after the transition.
In Shot 3, a palm covers the lens, and in Shot 4 the hand pulls away to reveal a sea at dawn. Join the two shots at the frame where the screen is most covered.
To recreate it: Make a separate start-frame image so Shot 4 starts with the palm already covering the lens.
Give the night street in Shots 2 and 3 magenta and cyan neon, and keep Shots 1, 4 and 5 in golden hour. The light color alone tells the viewer the place and time have changed.
To recreate it: Put 'magenta and cyan glow' in every night-shot prompt, in the same words.
In Shot 5, zoom in suddenly on a face turning back with a smile to put a full stop on the final pose. Running the parts before and after fast with a speed ramp makes the ending hit harder.
To recreate it: Crash zooms are often only weakly applied, so add a punch-in in editing if it falls short.
Set shot lengths so one transition lands on each strong beat of the music. A transition that lands on the beat gives the most satisfaction.
To recreate it: Pick the music first, set shot lengths by the number of beats, then generate to those lengths.
Cinematic multi-shot sequence, 8 seconds total, vertical 9:16. Shot 1 (2s): full shot of a young woman in a white dress on a sunny rooftop, then a fast whip pan right with heavy motion blur; Shot 2 (2s): the whip pan settles on the same woman in a black jacket on a neon night street, magenta and cyan glow; Shot 3 (1s): handheld selfie close-up as she covers the lens with her palm; Shot 4 (2s): handheld selfie close-up as she pulls her hand away, now in a linen shirt on a quiet beach at sunrise; Shot 5 (1s): crash zoom toward her laughing face, golden backlight. Same woman throughout, vivid color grade, energetic joyful mood.
Match the direction of the movement that ends one shot to the direction of the movement that starts the next, and the place changes yet it looks like one continuous move. Placing the transition on the strong beat of the music adds to the fun of watching.
Vertical 9:16 full shot of a young woman in a white dress posing on a sunny rooftop, then the camera whips fast to the right with heavy motion blur, warm golden hour light, vivid colors, energetic summer mood.
Vertical 9:16 shot arriving from a fast whip pan from the left, motion blur settling on the same young woman now in a black jacket on a neon-lit night street, full shot, magenta and cyan glow on wet pavement, energetic mood.
Vertical 9:16 selfie-angle close-up of the same woman on the neon street reaching toward the lens and covering it with her palm, handheld phone at arm's length, magenta and cyan glow, motion blur on the hand, playful mood.
Vertical 9:16 selfie-angle close-up starting with a palm covering the lens, the same woman pulls her hand away to reveal herself on a quiet beach at sunrise in a linen shirt, handheld phone at arm's length, soft golden light, fresh calm mood.
Vertical 9:16 medium shot of the same woman on the beach turning to the camera and laughing, sudden crash zoom in toward her face with motion blur, soft golden sunrise backlight, vivid warm colors, joyful finale mood.
Set the cut lengths by cutting to the beat, so that one transition lands on each strong beat of the music. Cut a whip pan transition in the middle of the two blurred sections and add a whoosh sound. Join the palm shot with a mask / wipe-by transition on the frame where the screen is most covered. Run the parts before and after the final crash zoom fast with a speed ramp, so the motion match doesn't break.
In the prompts of the two shots before and after a transition, write the same direction ("to the right", "from the left") word for word, and generate each shot separately. To make it look like the same person, feed one face photo into every shot as the reference image, and make start frames that change only the outfit and the place. Whip pans and crash zooms are often applied only weakly, so if the blur is not enough in the 480p draft, add it in editing with a zoom transition or a punch-in.
